A grey or roan colt from the second crop of U.S. Horse of the Year Mineshaft was hammered down for 310,000gns as the second session of the Craven Breeze-Up Sale rolled on in Newmarket. A $170,000 graduate of last year's Keeneland September sale, the May foal was consigned to the sale by Ireland's Mocklershill Stables and was purchased by Jane Chapple-Hyam. He is a half-brother to SW & MGSP Joopy Doopy (Gilded Time) and to SP American Czarina (Quiet American).
