Group 2 winner She Will Be Loved (Aus) (Strategic {Aus}), carrying her first foal by dominant sire Redoute's Choice (Aus), was hammered down for A$2.4 million to top Wednesday's third session of the Magic Millions National Broodmare Sale on the Gold Coast. Consigned by Kia Ora Stud, the four-year-old filly, winner of the G2 Manifold S., was purchased by Hong Kong-based Deborah Ho. “She's a really lovely mare,” Ho said. “She might only be a Group Two winner, but she's a beautiful mare and is carrying a colt by Redoute's Choice.
“She's a good type of mare and I was really keen to buy her.” Ho had struck out earlier this week and was the underbidder on A$2.7-million sales-topper Divine Madonna (Aus). Click for the catalogue page.
