Young fillies seemed to be the flavor of the day Monday at Keeneland and that trend continued with the sale of hip 147. Bred in the Bluegrass by Jess Jackson's Stonestreet Thoroughbred Holdings LLC and consigned on its behalf by the sales arm of Gainesway, the bay is a daughter of champion A.P. Indy out of GSW & GISP Chimichurri (Elusive Quality) and was purchased by John Ferguson for $3.1 million. Jackson acquired the now eight-year-old mare for $2.1 million carrying a foal by Unbridled's Song at the 2005 Keeneland November sale. He resold the resulting offspring, a filly now named Christina's World, to Fox Hill Farm for $725,000 at last year's September get-together.
