Ron Winchell raced 2005 GI Kentucky Oaks heroine Summerly (Summer Squall) before selling her for $3.3 million at FTKNOV in 2006. He went back to the well Thursday at Keeneland, spending $540,000 to acquire her half-sister by Giant's Causeway. Eaton Sales consigned the bay filly as hip 1209.
