A.P. Indy wasn't about to let his son Bernardini get all the headlines. The first foal out of MGISW Splendid Blended (Unbridled's Song), by Lane's End's superstar stallion, went to Spendthrift Farm LLC for $900,000 at FTSAUG Monday night. The dark bay colt was consigned by Eaton Sales, agent for breeder Peter Vegso, in whose colors Splendid Blended won the GI Hollywood Starlet S. and GI Vanity Invitational H. The mare, a half to MGSW Richly Blended (Rizzi), earned $742,060.
