Darley rep John Ferguson went to 320,000 euros for a colt by Pivotal (GB)–In Anticipation (Ire), by Sadler's Wells to lead the way midway through Tuesday's second session of the Goffs Orby Sale. The colt is a half-brother to the high-class Irresistible Jewel (Ire) (Danehill), winner of the 2002 G2 Ribblesdale S. and G3 Blandford S. and runner-up in that year's G1 Prix de l'Opera; and to listed winner Diamond Trim (Ire) (Highest Honor {Fr}). He counts as his second dam U.S. Grade I winner Apostar (Fappiano). Moyglare Stud Farm consigned the Feb. 22-foaled bay, who was bred in Ireland by Moyglare.
