A regally bred colt by Distorted Humor out of dual Grade I winner Tomisue's Delight (A.P. Indy) realized a bid of $2.3 million from John Moynihan, bidding on behalf of his client Jess Jackson, to lead the way at Tuesday's Fasig-Tipton Calder Sale of Two-Year-Olds in Training. The chestnut colt, a half-brother to GISW Mr. Sidney (Storm Cat), was purchased for $200,000 as a KEESEP yearling by On the Sly of Jill Julian and Stacy Yagoda. The duo consigned the colt, also from the family of champion Mineshaft (A.P. Indy), under their Two Beaches banner. It was their lone offering of the sale.
