Glen Hill Lands Malibu Moon Filly for $700K

Malibu Moon is creating a reputation for himself as an outstanding sire of fillies, and has been represented this season by the likes of Grade I winners Devil May Care, Malibu Prayer and Life At Ten. Glen Hill Farm joined the sire's fan club Wednesday afternoon at Keeneland, going to $700,000 for a daughter of Erhu (Tactical Cat) from the consignment of Mr. & Mrs. Jody Huckabay's Elm Tree Farm. The couple is also the co-breeder of the session-topper with an entity called Popatop. Jody Huckabay purchased Erhu, third in the grassy GIII Early Times Mint Julep H., for just $120,000 in foal to Silver Train at the 2007 Keeneland November sale.
