Silverton Hill Goes To $560K For Unbridled's Song Colt

Bonnie and Tommy Hamilton's Silverton Hill, which had already bought eight KEESEP 2010 yearlings for an aggregate $1,935,000 and an average of $241,875, upped the ante Friday. Silverton went to $560,000 to get hip 1447, a colt by Unbridled's Song. The grey was consigned by Gainesway, agent for breeder Eldon Farm Equine. He was the subject of an eye-catching catalogue update–half-brother Sheriff Cogburn (Vindication), a $50,000 KEESEP yearling last year, captured the Aug. 6 Prairie Meadows Juvenile Mile S. by 9 1/4 lengths. The two-year-old had previously broken his maiden by seven lengths at Arlington July 1.
