Gabby's Golden Gal Goes For $1.25M At Fasig November

Arnold Zetcher homebred Gabby's Golden Gal (f, 4, Medaglia d'Oro), winner of the GI Santa Monica H. in January and the GI Acorn S. last year, was acquired by Shadai Farm for $1.25 million at Fasig-Tipton's November Sale Sunday. The dark bay, sold as a broodmare prospect, was consigned by Winter Quarter Farm, agent. Brought back after a nine-month layoff for Friday's GI BC F/M Sprint, she set the pace for a half before fading to 10th. She made 10 career starts, with four wins and earnings of $499,405.
