A first-crop offering by former Shadwell runner, the dual Group 1 winner Tamayuz (GB) (Nayef) out of 2004 G1 Moyglare Stud S. heroine Chelsea Rose (Ire) (Desert King {Ire}) was purchased by Sheikh Hamdan's operation for 220,000 euros as the foal section of the Goffs November Sale rolled through its third and final session Thursday afternoon. The chestnut filly was consigned by Airlie Stud, breeder of Chelsea Rose, who won five times from her 16 career starts and bankrolled $547,607. Her second foal, hip 550 is from the first crop of Tamayuz, who claimed the scalp of subsequent GI Breeders' Cup Classic hero Raven's Pass (Elusive Quality) in the G1 Prix Jean Prat in 2008 and went on to add a score in the G1 Prix Jacques le Marois.
