The 12-year-old mare First (GB) (Highest Honor {Fr}–Pushy {GB}, by Sharpen Up {GB}) was hammered down to Charlie Gordon-Watson for 1.1 million guineas Tuesday at Tattersalls December. Part of the Bloomsbury Stud dispersal, the black-type winner is the dam of SW Law Lord (GB) (Diktat {GB}) and SW & MGSP Perfect Stride (GB) (Oasis Dream {GB}). First is a daughter of Group 2 winner Pushy and a half-sister to French highweight Myself (GB) (Nashwan) and MGSW Bluebook (Secretariat). Her second dam is blue-hen Mrs. Moss (GB) (Reform {GB}). First, selling in foal to Cape Cross (Ire) as hip 1691, is the dam of last week's sales-topping foal, a 320,000gns Singspiel (Ire) colt.
