Macho Uno Colt Fetches $700,000

A fine-looking son of Adena stallion Macho Uno sold for $700,000 to the bid of bloodstock agent Buzz Chace, acting on behalf of West Point Thoroughbreds, at Thursday's Fasig-Tipton Florida sale. The gray colt worked one-furlong in :10 flat Monday. He is out of Champagne Cocktail (Red Ransom), a half-sister to MGSP Indy Wind (A.P. Indy) and was purchased by Crupi's New Castle Farm, agent, for $50,000 last September.
