Sheikh Mohammed made the trip from Dubai for the Fasig-Tipton Saratoga Selected Yearlings Sale, and made his presence felt early when he landed hip 6, a colt by Bernardini and just the second horse through the ring Monday evening, for $750,000. The colt, who was produced by the stakes winner Mountain Mambo (Mt. Livermore), was consigned by Dromoland Farm. Sheikh Mohammed's Darley stand the youngster's outstanding sophomore sire Bernardini, the A.P. Indy stallion who Sunday registered his eighth black-type winner. Hip 6 was bred by Bloodstock Holdings LLC.
