A.P. Indy's son Bernardini continued to be the red-hot sire Monday evening at Fasig-Tipton Saratoga. After a son opened the session on a bid of $750,000 from John Ferguson, a daughter of the Darley stallion selling as hip 53 made $950,000. It was John McCormack Bloodstock who made the winning bid; Hill 'n' Dale Sales Agency consigned. The filly is the first foal from the Adena Springs-campaigned Sugar Shake (Awesome Again), a Grade I winner on the track who was subsequently sold to Global Bloodstock for $825,000 at the 2009 FTKNOV sale with this foal in utero. Hip 53 was bred by SF Bloodstock LLC.
