Cape Cross Filly Makes 500K at Tatts

Thursday's early action at Tattersalls October saw Charlie Gordon-Watson secure a Cape Cross (Ire) filly for 500,000gns. Outbidding Angus Gold, Gordon-Watson bought the filly on behalf of Craig Bennet's Merry Fox Stud. The bay filly is out of Model Queen (Kingmambo), who has already produced MG1SW Regal Parade (GB) (Pivotal {GB}) and this year's G3 Acomb S. winner Entifaadha (GB) (Dansili {GB}). She will reportedly be trained by Sir Henry Cecil.
