A colt by Exceed and Excel (Aus) out of the winning mare Temple of Thebes (Ire) (Bahri) attracted a final bid of 260,000gns to top the early returns of the Tattersalls October Yearling Sale – Book 2 Thursday. Consigned by Lofts Hall Stud, the bay was purchased by The Hong Kong Jockey Club.The first foal out his 6-year-old dam, he is closely related to Flashmans Papers (GB) (Exceed and Excel {Aus}), a stakes winner in the U.S. and Britain. The breeders, Mr. and Mrs. A. E. Pakenham, purchased the dam, with this colt in utero, for 80,000gns at TATDEC in 2009.
