A little more than 48 hours after a solid effort in the GI Breeders' Cup Filly and Mare Turf at Churchill Downs, Dubawi Heights (GB) (f, 4, Dubawi {Ire}) is bound for a career in Japan after being secured by Shadai Farm for $1.6 million at Fasig-Tipton. The hard-knocking 4-year-old filly rattled off four straight victories from late 2010 into the spring of 2011, with wins in the GIII Wilshire H. and the GI Gamely S. at Hollywood Park. She made most of the running in the GI Beverly D. S. at Arlington, only to be run down late by Stacelita (Fr) (Monsun {Ger}) and tried to make all in the F/M Turf, but couldn't quite see it out and was sixth, beaten under three lengths.
