Hunter Valley's Adrian Regan and Fergus Galvin, bidding from the back of the Keeneland sales pavilion on behalf of an undisclosed client, signed the ticket at $775,000 for Spice Island (Tabasco Cat) during Monday's opening session of the January sale. The 12-year-old mare, in foal to Tapit, is the dam of GI Florida Derby winner Ice Box (Pulpit).
