Empire Maker Filly Brings $435,000 at Barretts

A filly by Empire Maker lit up the board at Barretts Monday night when selling for $435,000 to the bid of Hisashi Wakahara, acting on behalf of Danox Co. Ltd. The juvenile, consigned by Ciaran Dunne's Wavertree Stables, is the first foal out of multiple stakes placed Fortunate Event (Event of the Year).
