A filly by Empire Maker, the last horse offered during Tuesday's first session of the OBS March Selected Sale of 2-Year-Olds in Training, proved dearest on the afternoon with Frank Fletcher signing the ticket at $485,000. By the sire of Triple Crown hopefuls and TDN Rising Stars Bodemeister and Empire Way and the top 3-year-old filly Grace Hall, hip 180–already named Ado–was bred by Claiborne Farm out of their outstanding three-time Grade III winner Trip (Lord at War {Arg}). She did her best to advertise herself with a strong eighth of a mile in :10 1/5 last Thursday (video).
