John Ferguson beat out trainer David Marnane to secure this chestnut colt for 500,000gns (US$842,912). Purchased by Tally-Ho Stud as a weanling for 53,000gns, the son of Balloura (Swain {Ire}) was bought back as a yearling for 45,000gns. “He is easily our biggest sale,” said a stunned Roger O'Callaghan of vendor Tally-Ho Stud. “We were hoping for 100 or 150,000gns, but this far exceeded our expectations. We have loved this foal from the day we bought him.” The juvenile hails from the family of MG1SW Oratorio (Ire) (Danehill).
