Invincible Warrior (Ire) (c, 2, Invincible Spirit {Ire}–Riotous Applause {GB}, by Royal Applause {GB}) parlayed a listed victory at Doncaster last Saturday into distinction as the current sales topper at the Tattersalls Autumn Horses in Training Sale when he sold to SackvilleDonald for 370,000gns (US$624,518). “He's been bought for Hong Kong and goes into training with John Moore,” reported Donald. “We had our eye this horse after he won his maiden impressively, but then obviously his listed victory changed the picture considerably.” The underbidder was David Redvers. The colt's dam is a half-sister to Group 1 winner Crowded House (Rainbow Quest), and he hails from the immediate family of this year's unbeaten Group 1-winning juvenile Reckless Abandon (GB) (Exchange Rate).
