A colt from the first crop of Grade I winner Pioneerof the Nile (Empire Maker) from Eddie Woods’s consignment brought a bid of $525,000 from Conquest Stable to become the new sale topper at OBS June.
The colt, named Tracker Jacker, was produced by the SP 9-year-old mare Early Vintage (Jump Start), a half sister to MGSW Tasha’s Miracle (Harlan’s Holiday) and to the dam of MGSW Concord Point (Tapit). He was purchased for a modest $42,000 by W.D. North Thoroughbreds last September.
Tracker Jacker breezed an eighth in :10 1/5 at the under-tack show.
