Hip 855, a Tiznow half-sister to Horse of the Year Havre de Grace (Saint Liam), created more late-afternoon fireworks on day four of the September sale, as the attractive dark bay was knocked down to Alex Solis Bloodstockļ¾ for $1.7 million. The Feb. 15 foal was consigned by the Mill Ridge Sales Agency on behalf of the filly's breeder Nancy S. Dillman, who also sold Easter Bunnette's current 3-year-old, Brabbham (Bernardini), through Mill Ridge to John Ferguson for $1.2 million at FTSAUG in the summer of 2011. Of course, Havre de Grace was famously sold for $10-million to Mandy Pope's Whisper Hill Farm at Fasig-Tipton November last year.
