Fireworks erupted late in the first session of theﾠTattersalls October Yearling Tuesday whenﾠM.V. Magnier went to 3.6 million guineas (US$6,079,311) to secure a son of Galileo (Ire) from Newsells Park Stud. The yearling is out of Shastye (Ire) (Danehill) and is a full-brother to G1 Epsom Oaks runner-up Secret Gesture (GB). That is the highest price forﾠa European yearling.
