Eagerly awaited, last year's G1 Cheveley Park S. winner Rosdhu Queen (Ire) (Invincible Spirit {Ire}) from William Haggas's draft was the subject of a predictably heated bidding war after opening up at 500,000gns. Seeing off first Rory Matthews of Barouche Stud and then John Warren, Stephen Hillen prevailed at 2.1million. “She's been bought for Coolmore,” Hillen said. “I should imagine she is going to be one for Galileo. She is a beautiful filly, a great physical. She is by Invincible Spirit who is doing so well, she is a Group 1-winning sprinter and won her Group 1 as a two-year-old – you don't get many of those coming onto the market.”
