The Barretts March sale concluded with a bang Monday evening, as the last hip through the ring–a Malibu Moon filly who breezed inﾠ:10 flat–nearly 'eclipsed' the $1 million mark at $950,000. It was once again Coolmore–represented this time by trainer Todd Plecther–who came out on top for the relative of MGISW juvenile First Samurai (Giant's Causeway). Hartley/De Renzo Thoroughbreds, who her for $160,000 at Keeneland September, consigned the Apr. 17 foal.
