Hip 61, a colt by Medaglia dﾒOro fetched $770,000 from Robert LaPenta's Whitehorse Stables. The bay, who was bred by G. Watts Humphrey Jr. and Louise Ireland Humphrey, was purchased at Keeneland September for $140,000. He was consigned by Eddie Woods, Agent L and breezed in :20 flat. He is out of Grade I-winning dam Victory Ride (Seeking the Gold) and is a half to the GSP Magical Ride (Storm Cat), the dam of GISP Ride on Curlin (Curlin).
