Victoire Pisa (Jpn) Colt Haltered by Masahiro Noda

Masahiro Noda, chairman of accountingᅠsoftware services giant OBIC Co. Ltd. and one of Japan's 50 richest people according to Forbes, stepped into action at the Japan Racing Horse Association select sale to buy a colt from the first crop of Dubai World Cup winner Victoire Pisa (Jpn) and out of Star Isle (Ire) (Rock of Gibraltar {Ire}) for ᆬ135 million. The colt's family is very familiar to Noda, as his wife, Mizuki, races the half brother, Mikki Isle (Jpn) (Deep Impact {Jpn}), winner of this year's GI NHK Mile Cup. Consigned by Northern Farm, the colt's strong frame is very reminiscent of his imposing sire.
