Terou Ono stretched to $925,000 to secure hip 413, a Bernardini ridgling out of Yellow Heat (The Real Thing). The half-sibling to GISW R Heat Lightning (Trippi) was scooped up by Baccari Bloodstock for $300,000 at last yearﾒs Keeneland November sale. The ever-popular Bernardini is responsible for Mondayﾒs session topper, hip 105, who went to Darley for $1.2 million. Terou Ono made one other pricey purchase so far this week with hip 309, a Congrats filly, who went for $320,000 Tuesday.
