Posset (GB), a full-sister to six-time Grade/Group 1 winner Midday (GB) (Oasis Dream {GB}), sparked a spirited bidding war early in the evening during the third session of the Tattersalls December Mare Sale and rocketed to the top of the day's trade, eventually hammered down to John Gunther, who outlasted Sheikh Fahad at 625,000gns. The 3-year-old is also a half to Group 2 winner Hot Snap and listed winner Midsummer Sun.
