Spendthrift Farm has an eye towards expanding its operations in Australia, and they took a major step towards that goal when going to A$1.2 million to secure a regally bred colt by Sepoy (Aus) from Segenhoe Stud during the fourth session of the Magic Millions Gold Coast Yearling Sale. The first foal out of the multiple group winning Sister Madly (Aus) (Redoute's Choice {Aus}), a half-sister to Hong Kong Horse of the Year Silent Witness, the chestnut becomes the new Magic Millions sale topper.
