Out of Lantern Glow, the New York-bred is a half-brother to GII Remsen S. winner Leave the Light On (Horse Greeley). Bred by All Gold Racing, he was consigned by de Meric Sales and breezed in :21 2/5. Rice purchased the colt on behalf of a newly formed syndicate headed by Sheila Rosenblum.
