The OBS June record price, set when a colt by Scat Daddy sold for $575,000 Tuesday, was matched Wednesday when Frank Fletcher went to $575,000 to secure a son of Into Mischief. The youngster was consigned by Jaime Mejia's Thoroughbred Champions Training Center. Mejia purchased the colt for just $11,000 at last year's Keeneland September sale. He RNA'd for $95,000 at the OBS March sale, but turned heads with a bullet :20 3/5 work last week. The juvenile is out of Kiss the King (Roman Ruler), a half sister to Group 1 placed As You LIke (Trempolino).
