DISCIPLINE (c, 3, Sky Mesa–Spread, by Coronado’s Quest) attended the early pace in a course-and-distance maiden Jan. 11 and stuck around to the eighth pole before crossing the line in sixth–placed fifth via disqualification. The form of that event looks strong, as the victorious Paganol (Tiz Wonderful) is ticketed for the GIII Southwest S. Feb. 17 and the runner-up Street Strategy (Street Sense) blew away a field of maidens by 6 1/2 lengths Thursday. Favored here at 2-1, Discipline landed in second as Fudge E (E Dubai) opened as many as six lengths on the field. But that one began to throw up distress signals, and Discipline pounced fast before waltzing home by 10 1/2 lengths. The winner raced Lasix-free. Sales history: $35,000 yrl ’12 KEESEP. Lifetime Record: 2-1-0-0, $34,650. Click for the brisnet.com chart or VIDEO.
