+WINDING BAY (f, 2, Malibu Moon–Cat Moves {GISW, $315,350}, by Tale of the Cat), a $90,000 KEESEP yearling, was sent off the prohibitive 1-5 favorite versus three colts in this unveiling. The chestnut filly attended a pedestrian pace, effortlessly took over on the turn and glided home under a hand ride to win by 7 3/4 lengths. Storm Haze (Purge) was second. Winding Bay is the first foal out of GI Prioress S. winner Cat Moves. The mare, with this foal in utero, sold to Adena Springs for $2.4 million at the 2011 Keeneland November sale.
