We Are Nearing Return

WE ARE NEARING RETURN 
George Strawbridge’s exciting sophomore filly We Are (Ire) (Dansili {GB}) is nearing a return to the races, with the G1 Prix de l’Opera at Longchamp Oct. 5 the longer term target. The Freddy Head charge had come home first in all three starts to date, but was disqualified from her two most recent wins–the G1 Prix Saint-Alary May 25 and a Saint-Cloud conditions race May 1–after it was discovered an ovarian tumor had elevated her testosterone levels. We Are had the tumor surgically removed, and is reported to be in good shape by Head. 
“She’s very well, I’m very pleased with her and she is coming back very nicely,” he said. “She is going to run on Sept. 20 in a listed race, and if all goes well she could run in the Prix de l’Opera on Arc day at Longchamp.”
