Dansili’s Brisanto Annexes the G3 Preis Des Winterfavoriten

Largely ignored by the betting public entering this test, Brisanto had the pedigree credentials to shine being a son of the 2008 G2 German 1000 Guineas winner Briseida and he was able to dent some bigger reputations and state his case for next year’s domestic Classics. Fourth on debut over 7 1/2 furlongs at Dusseldorf Aug. 3, the bay was off the mark over this track and trip last time Sept. 13 and raced keenly close to the pace after a tardy start. Sent past Sherlock and to the lead approaching the furlong pole, the homebred was quickly in the clear en route to a decisive success.
