Andre Fabre holds the record of seven wins in today’s G3 Prix de Conde at Longchamp and also has a live contender this time in Godolphin’s Big Blue (GB) (Galileo {Ire}), who scored on debut over this trip at Compiegne Oct. 2. The operation’s representative Lisa-Jane Graffard commented, “Big Blue won nicely and was quite green first time out, suggesting that he will come on plenty for the run. He is a very straightforward horse and the ground conditions will be similar to his debut run, which could be important.” Khalid Abdullah’s Epicuris (GB) (Rail Link {GB}) is another coming off a win on his racecourse bow over a mile here at the start of September, while a dark horse is Ramzan Kadyrov’s Aldar (Fr) (New Approach {Ire}), who won by five lengths in the seven-furlong Arqana Gerschov Memorial at Velka Chuchle Sept. 28.
