Conditioner Ben Colebrook was very happy with the conditioner of Sparkling Review (Lemon Drop Kid) following her upset victory in Friday's GIII Valley View S. at Keeneland. It was the first graded stakes win for both Colebrook and his charge.
“She came out of the race great,” Colebrook said. “The next logical spot would be the stakes at Churchill, the [GII] Mrs. Revere [S.], but I've gotta talk to the owners and see how she trains between now and then.”
The bay donned cap and gown at second asking over the lawn at Arlington Aug. 9 and was an allowance winner at Kentucky Downs Sept. 6.
