Arqana hosts its third and final yearling sale of the season, the Arqana October Yearling Sale, this week in Deauville, and the action kicks off today with the single-day Part 1 session of the catalogue. The entire catalogue comprises 600 lots, with 185 set to go under the hammer today, and the remaining slotted for Part 2 of the sale over the next three days. Taylor S. winner Reggane (GB) (Red Ransom); lot 48, a daughter of Group 2 winner All Is Vanity (Fr) (Gold Away {Ire}) and one of the final Monsun (Ger) yearlings to go through a sales ring; lot 105, a full-brother to Group 1 winner Giofra (GB) (Dansili {GB}) and a half to listed winner Gradara (Ire) (Montjeu {Ire}) and lot 146, a King’s Best half-sister to G1 Prix du Cadran winner Molly Malone (Fr) (Lomitas {GB}).
