Zebedee To Shuttle Next Year
ZEBEDEE TO SHUTTLE NEXT YEAR
Zebedee (GB) (Invincible Spirit {Ire}), Europe’s leading first-season sire by number of wins with 38, will shuttle to Cornerstone Stud in South Australia for the 2015 Southern Hemisphere season in a deal brokered by Johnny McKeever and Chris Blomeley of BBA Ireland. Zebedee, who stands Northern Hemisphere at Tally-Ho Stud in Ireland, counts dual Group 2 winner and joint G1 2000 Guineas favorite Ivawood (Ire) amongst his 30 individual winners this year.
“Zebedee forced his way onto our radar halfway through the European flat season with the sheer quantity of runners making it to the track and winning,” said Cornerstone’s Sam Hayes. “After visiting Tally-Ho Stud in September with Johnny McKeever and inspecting the stallion, we knew Zebedee was the right fit and will make for an exciting addition to our stallion roster at Cornerstone Stud.”
Zebedee’s sire, Invincible Spirit, was responsible for last year’s champion Australian freshman sire I Am Invincible (Aus). Cornerstone is also the Southern Hemisphere home of the Irish-based Dalakhani (Ire).
