Santa Anita's Autumn Meet, which will run from Friday, Sept. 30 to Sunday, Nov. 6, will offer 26 black-type events, including five Breeders' Cup “Win & You're In” stakes. The first two weekends of the meet will be especially noteworthy, with 17 stakes, 12 of which are graded. Significant Breeders' Cup preps will include the Oct. 1 GI Awesome Again S., as well as Oct. 8's GI American Pharoah S. and GI Rodeo Drive S.
Stakes purses for the 18-day meet will remain almost entirely the same as last year, with $25,000 purse bumps to the Golden State Juvenile and the Golden State Juvenile Fillies; and $10,000 increases to the Unzip Me S., the Anoakia S., the Swingtime S., and the Lure S.
