Silent Achiever confirmed on Arc trail

Four-time G1 winner Silent Achiever (NZ) (O’Reilly {NZ}) is continuing her preparation ahead of an international Autumn campaign that could see her take on Europe’s finest in the G1 Prix de l’Arc de Triomphe. The 7-year-old pleased connections in a racecourse gallop at Ellerslie, Jan. 25, and trained Roger James told racenet.com.au, “She’s very well and that work was as good as she has put in at this stage in a preparation.”

Silent Achiever beat the boys in the G1 New Zealand Derby, back in 2012, and completed a hat-trick of Group 1 wins within a month time last season, including a stunning display in the G1 BMW, where she left the likes of multiple G1 scorer It’s A Dundeel (NZ) and G1 Melbourne Cup hero Fiorente (Ire) in her wake. James confirmed that the mare’s 2015 was likely to include a start in The Championships at Royal Radwick (Apr. 4 and 11), although her ultimate goal remained the Arc.
