Dortmund Returns Well From Saturday Win

TDN Rising Star’ Dortmund (Big Brown) looked to be doing well in his barn the morning after his win in Santa Anita’s GIII Robert B. Lewis S., according to conditioner Bob Baffert. “Dortmund looked really good at the barn afterwards,” Baffert said Sunday morning. “I was surprised, because after [his win in the GI Los Alamitos Futurity Dec. 20] he was tired. After this race he was a pretty happy dude. It was a good race for him. We’ll look at the [GI] Santa Anita Derby [Apr. 4] or we could go out of town.”
