Inglis Broodmare Catalogue Online
A total of 884 quality lots have been catalogued for the extended Inglis Australian Broodmare and Weanling Sale, which will be four days this year and will run from May 3-6 at Inglis’s Newmarket complex in Sydney. The Platinum weanling session will kick off proceedings with 149 lots, for which X-rays will be available for viewing at the repository. The Select and General weanling sessions will follow with a further 122 lots on offer. Fifty of the weanlings are siblings to stakes performers.
The Baxter family will be dispersing its bloodstock interests in an unreserved dispersal consisting of 16 weanlings and 25 broodmares, along with stallion shares in both Sebring (Aus) and Onemorenomore (Aus). Darley, Coolmore Stud, Widden Stud, and Vinery Stud are among those with drafts of 20 or more. The Eliza Park draft notably includes the stellar-bred Fusaichi Pegasus mare Baltics (Aus) (Fusaichi Pegasus), in foal to Bel Esprit (Aus) carrying a close relation to Black Caviar (Aus).
Forty-seven stakes-winners are catalogued in the broodmare section including G1 ATC Golden Slipper winner Calaway Gal (Aus) (Clang {Aus}), and G1 ATC Coolmore Classic winner Eskimo Queen (NZ) (Shinko King {Ire}). Other highlights include young Group 3-winning mares Danesiri (Aus) (Home on the Grange {Aus}), Thiamandi (Aus) (Street Boss) and Neena Rock (Aus) (Fastnet Rock {Aus}); Group 1 performer Golconda (Aus) (Snitzel {Aus}), and Group 3 winner Absolutelyfabulous (Aus) (Langfuhr) in foal to More Than Ready. The dam of Group 2 winner Toydini (Aus) (Bernardini), Johan’s Toy (Aus) will be offered in foal to Dundeel (NZ).
