Avenir Certain to resume in Muguet

Last year’s dual Classic heroine Avenir Certain (Fr) (Le Havre {Ire}), whose only defeat in seven outings to date came in the G1 Prix de l’Arc de Triomphe, the filly’s first attempt at a mile and a half, is set to make her seasonal reappearance in the 1600-meter G2 Prix du Muguet at Saint-Cloud May 1. Speaking on Equidia, trainer Jean-Claude Rouget confirmed that his charge would be confined to middle distances this term and could have overseas aims.
