Tapestry To Resume Monday

Last year’s G1 Yorkshire Oaks winner Tapestry (Ire) (Galileo {Ire}) will make her seasonal debut in Monday’s G3 Mooresbridge S. at The Curragh. Trainer Aidan O’Brien, who seeks his eighth win in the Mooresbridge, said, “Tapestry is ready to start off and is in good shape. If all goes well at the Curragh on Monday she could return for the [G1] Tattersalls Gold Cup [May 24] or we might look at the [G1] Coronation Cup at Epsom [June 6].” 

A field of six was left in the Mooresbridge at Wednesday’s final forfeit stage, and Tapestry could face dual Group 3 winner Fascinating Rock (Ire) (Fastnet Rock {Aus}) and multiple stakes-placed Alive Alive Oh (GB) (Duke of Marmalade {Ire}), one-two in the Apr. 15 Heritage S. at Leopardstown, as well as Apr. 19 Listed Alleged S. victor Parish Hall (Ire) (Teofilo {Ire}).
