Fallon Out For 10 Days

Former champion jockey Kieren Fallon will be out of action “for at least 10 days”, said the jockey’s agent Simon Dodds Thursday. Fallon reportedly hurt a foot at Newmarket Saturday, but rode at Southwell Monday. He was booked to ride First Party (GB) (Royal Applause {GB}) at Nottingham Thursday evening but will now be replaced by Andrew Mullen.

Dodds commented, “He won’t be riding for a few days. It’s disappointing as he had a ride in the [G1] Irish 1000 [Guineas] and was supposed to ride Gathering Power (Ire) (Kyllachy {GB}) at Haydock but Jamie Spencer rides her now. I think he’ll be out for at least 10 days.”
